Because if your skin can’t decide, why should you?

Two masks are better than one. Especially when the two masks in question are a dream team of anti-oxidant rich, glow-boosting superfoods designed to work together for a smooth, radiant complexion. Meet the newest additions to the Superfood range: Superfood Vital Veggie Mask and Superfood Berry Boost Mask.

Created with a bespoke skin routine in mind, these masks are all you need if you suffer with the dreaded combination skin type. Oily one day, dry the next; flaky here, stressed-out there; combination skin can be a hard one to cater for. Bespoke is the best way to go. Read on for our guide to multi-masking your way to flawless skin-perfection.

Not too matte, not too glowy…just right.
“While a traditional mask will be applied all over for a uniform treatment, multi-masking is a great way to tackle all your skin concerns at once, achieving a flawless look that ticks all the boxes.” says Grace Coburn, ELEMIS’ International Trainer. “Tailor it to you and apply our green veggie mask to your dry, dull areas and our naturally purple mask to the oilier areas around your T-Zone.”

First, analyse your skin
Start with a clean canvas by removing your makeup with our Nourishing Omega-Rich Cleansing Oil and double cleansing with Superfood Facial Wash. Hungry for something more? Go the extra mile with an exfoliating step courtesy of NEW Superfood Blackcurrant Jelly Exfoliator.

Now comes the patience. Before you moisturise or apply your serums and oils, take some time to check out your skin in its natural state. Give it a few hours and see which areas feel dry and tight, which areas need soothing and calming, and where your complexion is naturally good at producing oil. The T-Zone (along the forehead and down the nose and chin) tends to be a classic oily area, but you might find your nose is prone to flakiness whilst your cheeks are naturally dewy. Take note.

Then, Veg Out
Apply your green Superfood Vital Veggie Mask to your dull, dry or stressed-out areas, leaving space for your purple mask as well. Ideal to banish the look of dehydration, this smoothie-inspired mask is packed with nutrient-dense Supergreens like Wheatgrass and Kale, plus radiance-boosting Passionfruit acids for an incredibly soft and smooth complexion.

Finally, Berry Boost
Next, sweep your Superfood Berry Boost Mask over your oilier areas, allowing the Brazilian Purple Clay to draw out impurities whilst the mask gently exfoliates the skin. An omega-rich SuperBerry Complex leaves skin feeling healthy and hydrated and a prebiotic, naturally derived from sugar, helps to maintain balance in the skin’s microflora for a healthier-looking complexion.

Relax (or multi-task!) for 10 minutes to allow your masks to soak up excess oil and feed your skin with vital hydration, then remove both with a damp, dark cloth to reveal beautifully balanced skin.

And there you have it. Our quick 2-step Superfood routine for a healthy, balanced glow.
