The BAFTA winning television production company, Twofour based in London is producing a new observational documentary series for ITV about family life in Britain.
We are keen to spread the net wide in order that we show a true representation of the different families in Britain today and we are currently looking for families who may be celebrating a marriage in 2013, as near to May as possible or even an anniversary or engagement, or special event.
This will be a landmark documentary series about what life is really like for British families and we are looking to tell the stories of five warm and outgoing families that will represent a snapshot of family life at this time, in all its fabulous forms.
I hope that you might be prepared to forward this letter and attached flyer to anyone you know who could be interested. Perhaps other colleagues or even personal friends and acquaintances with great families who may spring to mind, or perhaps it is yourself?
Our search is very broad, but we are hoping for a dynamic and engaging family with at least four members in the household and preferably older children, other than that, absolutely anything and everyone goes… the more the merrier!
We want to make a series that has warmth, integrity and humour – that explores every aspect of modern domestic family life – and that celebrates everything about what makes our households so individual and so exceptional.
We envisage that this series will be similar in scale and tone to three recent productions – the BAFTA-nominated The Family and the BAFTA award-winning One Born Every Minute and Educating Essex – all of which members of the production team worked on.
I would love a chat with anyone who was potentially interested to explain the premise and what it would entail. All our conversations are confidential and do not commit people to being involved.
Please do call 0207 438 1930 for further details or reply to this e-mail and I will call you back at a convenient time. Anything you can do to help spread the word would be greatly appreciated.
